Hi! We’re Sinduri and Sphoorti, two mom friends who met through our kids and instantly clicked over a shared love of art, food, and design. What started as casual conversations about creativity turned into Velvet Fig Boards—a space where we bring beauty, flavor, and meaning together on every board we create.

We’re both creative souls at heart—former corporate professionals who felt called to do something more fulfilling. For us, that meant turning our love of styling, culture, and food into something tangible.

Our boards aren’t just about good food (though, trust us, the food is really good). They’re about that moment someone walks into a room, sees the spread, and feels pampered. Like they’re living the dream—surrounded by beauty, flavor, and thoughtful details made just for them.

We love celebrating global flavors, showcasing the foods of our culture, and collaborating with customers to bring their vision to life. Whether it’s a cozy gathering or a lavish event, we’re here to make it extra special.

Right now, we serve the San Francisco Bay Area—but our dreams are big. Boutique catering, creative styling, maybe even a studio space of our own one day. We’re just getting started.
